I know where you are.

My private practice focuses on helping men who are dealing with anxiety, depression, unresolved trauma, personal or professional crises, and relationship challenges. Men come to therapy for various issues, including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, addiction, stress, feelings of isolation, and dissatisfaction in their relationships.

Many men feel embarrassed to ask for help because they believe it shows weakness. Societal, cultural, religious, and familial factors make it difficult for them to express their emotions, leaving parts of themselves unspoken. Historically, men have not been encouraged to be open or share their feelings, which results in a "false" self that they present to others. Good therapy can help men discover their true, authentic selves, enabling them to succeed.

Men often struggle to acknowledge their emotions, which can result in feelings of isolation, loneliness, and disconnection from others. They are more likely to externalize their feelings or act out compared to women, leading to higher risks of health issues related to repressed anger, inadequate coping strategies, and behaviors such as aggression, substance abuse, and even suicide.

Sessions are now available both in-person and online.

  • I have chosen to work directly with individuals like you, rather than for insurance companies. I believe that the most effective care involves creating a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs, rather than adhering to the strict guidelines set by insurance providers.


    As a result, I am not paneled with any insurance carriers. However, if your insurance plan covers out-of-network providers, they may reimburse you for a portion of my fee. I recommend contacting your insurance company to find out what the reimbursement rates are for your specific plan.

  • The frequency of our sessions depends on your needs. We will tailor a plan to based on what works. Most clients start with sessions once a week and over time may change to every two weeks.
